Specialist in plastic surgery

MUDr. Madina Babakalanova is a specialist in plastic surgery with sound international training and clinical experience in general and plastic surgery. Her medical career began in human medicine and, via several surgical postings, eventually led her to specialise in plastic surgery.

Since 2020 she has worked in the Department of Plastic Surgery at Bulovka University Hospital. Previously she worked, among other places, in the surgical department of Nymburk Hospital and in the surgical clinic of Thomayer Hospital. This gives her a broad surgical foundation and extensive practical experience of everyday clinical surgery.

Her medical training was built up internationally and later officially recognised in the Czech Republic. In 2011 her university medical degree was confirmed as equivalent in Prague. She then completed the required recognition and further training stages in the Czech Republic. She obtained her specialist recognition in general surgery in 2019 and her specialisation in plastic surgery in 2024.

MUDr. Babakalanova stands for modern, careful and responsible surgical work. For patients, alongside professional competence, trust, precision and a sense of security before a procedure are what matter most – and these are exactly the values that shape her medical practice.

Education and qualifications

MUDr. Ján Pilka completed his medical studies at the Faculty of Medicine of Comenius University in Bratislava. He then specialised in plastic surgery and obtained the corresponding specialist qualification.

He holds a medical licence for both Slovakia and the Czech Republic and looks back on many years of work in plastic and aesthetic surgery.

Professional career

Until 2012, MUDr. Ján Pilka worked as a specialist in plastic surgery at a university hospital in Bratislava. There he gained extensive experience across the full range of reconstructive plastic and aesthetic surgery.

In 2012 he moved to Prague and continued his work as a plastic surgeon there. In the following years he deepened his experience in particular in modern aesthetic plastic surgery.

MUDr. Ján Pilka has worked in Prague for many years and regularly performs aesthetic operations for patients from the Czech Republic and abroad.

International further training and congresses

MUDr. Ján Pilka attaches great importance to continuous medical further training and regularly attends international professional congresses, workshops and training events.

He broadens his professional experience through international exchange with specialists in the USA, the United Kingdom, France, the Netherlands, Belgium and Austria, among others, as well as in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

In this way he continuously incorporates current developments, modern surgical methods and new findings in plastic and aesthetic surgery into his surgical practice.
